Chicago Bill & The Next Blues Band
Formed in 1991 by Chicago native Bill Bouchard after his arrival in Monterey. The band has been delivering their brand of Blues around the Central Coast from San Jose to Santa Barbara for over 20 years. Come on out for a night of danceable blues! 7-9PM, $10/person.

One of our favorites playing a wide range of songs from classic Country to Rock & Roll. They are always a great time and easy to dance to. 7-9PM, $10/person. Line Dance lesson with Shanta, 6-7PM. Free with entry to dance.

Free Elements
Based in Santa Cruz, Free Elements is a positive-energy, up-tempo band playing a Cali-style blend of jazz, blues, light rock and Americana – and does it ever swing! Their style is fun and loose, and the sound is tight. The song selection is diverse and the cover tunes have a fresh, compelling sound. Clearly, the chemistry is great and they love what they do.  You don’t want to miss them! 7-9PM, $10/person.

The music of the 1920’s and 30’s will come alive with New Orleans energy from Plateau Jazz Band, who invites dancers to come along for the fun. Come early for swing dance class starting at 6:30PM.  Free with Dance Admission, or $10.  Live Band Dance 7-9PM, $10/person.

Tin Foil Hat Band
Tin Foil Hat is a Santa Cruz, CA-based band performing classic rock, jazz, and dance music. Known for live performances in the Santa Cruz Mountains area.  They play a mix of popular and danceable tunes. The band features Cheryl Vaughn – Vocals and Percussions; Stewart Evans – Bass, Vocals; Keith Swensen – Keyboards, Vocals; Robert Statsinger – Guitar, Vocals; and Franco Tandoi on Drums.

In this class, you’ll learn the Electric Slide, Cupid Shuffle and many other fun country western dance steps. Line dancing is fun! No partner required. $5/person.

Tuesdays
Balboa Swing Dance Lessons. 6:00-7:15PM Intermediate.
The Balboa is a 40’s swing dance that incorporates Pure Bal, Bal-Swing, So-Cal Swing, and Jitter Bal. We begin our classes with an introduction to Pure Bal. Pure Balboa is a closed-position/connection dance. If you search YouTube online, there are lots of examples of Balboa videos, we’ll be working with the style popularized by Dean Raftery. Please feel free to come out and join us to begin your Balboa journey. $10/person

Thursdays
International Folk Dancing. 10:30-Noon
Partners are not needed, so don’t wait to be asked, just grab someone’s hand and jump in. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing. Dances are done in lines or circles, with people holding hands, or individually. The same steps get rearranged into different dances, representing different countries and cultures. $4/members; $6/Non-Members.

Partners are not needed. This is a fast pace dance, at the intermediate level. Previous experience with Salsa Dance is strongly encouraged. If your new to Salsa, try the Intro/Basics course on Monday night.

West Coast Swing Dance. 6:30-11pm
West Coast Swing is a partner dance with roots in the Lindy Hop. Join us for a fun, energetic dance. 6:30-7PM Beginner lessons; 7-8PM Intermediate Lessons; 8PM-11PM Open Dancing. $15/person, $10/students (with Student Body Card)

1st Sunday Waltz. 3-4PM lesson; 4-5PM Dance
