We need you! MCSC is a volunteer based organization. If you’d like to pitch in to keep our Center thriving let us know and join our amazing team. Areas where we need help now:
Receiptionists: We are always looking for new receptionists. It is our goal to stay to 1/2 day shifts, and keep the workload evenly spread, while providing front desk support for activities and members.
Activity Leaders: We keep a book in the reception area for members to indicate what activities they would like us to offer. We also work with those that have a skill to teach to create new activities. If you would have a class in mind, or would like to be an activity leader, please reach out to Cindy Kiernan. We are currently looking for instructors to teach: Conversational Spanish, Music Appreciation Class, Tai Chi
Cashiers: During office hours, our receptionist collects the fees for our activities. For weekend & evening Activities, Dances, Bingo, Special Events, Tuesday Night Live and Sunday Ranch Breakfast we need volunteer cashiers to help.
– Dance hours are 6:45-8:30PM weekly on Fridays; 6:45-10:00PM on the 3rd Saturday
– Tuesday Night Live will be from 4:15-6:00 on the 3rd Tuesday of the month.
– Ranch Breakfast is the 4th Sunday of the Month
– Festivals upcoming: July 29th, October 14th
– Bingo is every Tuesday 12:00-3:30PM.
Miscellaneous: There are always a million things that need done. Creating posters, updating websites, handyman work, helping in the kitchen, creating fund raisers, publicity, etc., etc. If you can help at all, either a few minutes, here and there or are willing to take on a lead responsibility, let us know!
