Friday Night Dances
Country Night DJ Dance. The First Friday of each month (Starting in Feb) from 7:00-9:00. Linda Minton and Larry McDaniel DJ a Country/Western dance. $10/person.

Jukebox DJ Dance. The Second Friday each month from 7:00-9:00pm is Jukebox Friday Night with DJ David playing a variety of tunes (swing, foxtrot, waltz, rumba, cha cha, two step, line dance) for your dancing pleasure. $10/person.

Live Band Dance. On the Fourth Friday of each month from 7:00-9:00. MCSC hosts a live band for your dancing fun. The Country Feelings Band plays a great mix of country tunes both past and present and many line dancers find this a great time to practice their skills. Both couples dancers and line dancers coexist on the large floor and everyone has a great time! The Ten O’Clock Lunch Band is a rockin’ band that plays a high energy mix of tunes we all know and love to dance to. You can’t sit still when they play so everyone is on the floor. Watch the calendar to see which band plays that week. $10/person.

Country Line Dance Lessons. Beginners: Mondays 5:00-6:30PM Intermediate & Advanced: Wednesday 7:00-8:30PM. In the beginner class, you’ll learn the Electric Slide, Cupid Shuffle and many other fun country western dance steps. Intermediate & advance builds on those basics with more complicated two-step & other dances. Line dancing is fun! No partner required, $5/person.

Balboa Swing Dance Lessons for Beginners. Tuesdays, 7-8:30PM. $10/person
The Balboa is a 40’s swing dance that incorporates Pure Bal, Bal-Swing, So-Cal Swing, and JitterBal. We will begin our classes with an introduction to Pure Bal. Pure Balboa is a closed-position/connection dance. If you search YOUTUBE online, there are an abundance of Balboa videos to chose from. We will be working with the style popularized by Dean Raftery. International Folk Dancing. Thursdays, 10:30-Noon
Partners are not needed, so don’t wait to be asked, just grab someone’s hand and jump in. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing. Dances are done in lines or circles, with people holding hands, or individually. The same steps get rearranged into different dances, representing different countries and cultures. $4/members; $6/Non-Members.

West Coast Swing Dance. Third Saturdays, 7-11pm
West Coast Swing is a partner dance with roots in the Lindy Hop. Join us for a fun, energetic dance on Dec. 17. Instruction included and open dance starts at 8. $15/person, $10/students.

Sunday Afternoon Waltz. First Sunday, 3-6pm
One hour of instruction, followed by two hours open dancing. Partner not required, $15/person.
