The MCSC Garden is managed and governed by its own committee and policies. Our gardeners practice organic and natural gardening and provide a peaceful haven to grow flowers, vegetables, berries, and fruit trees. MCSC members are welcome to relax just outside the garden gate in the gazebo area and enjoy this peaceful setting. Garden access is limited to Garden Members.

How to become an MCSC Gardener.
The MCSC Garden has 54 garden plots. All are currently subscribed and a wait list is available to MCSC members only. Rent is $50 per year, plus MCSC membership of $45 per year, renewals are due in January. The first Saturday of each month is the Gardener’s Workday where all Garden members are encouraged to tend to their gardens, the general area and meet to discuss issues.

The Lavender Ladies.
The MCSC Garden is happy to host the Lavender Ladies! Every year this group grows, harvests, and creates wonderful fragrant items from locally grown lavender and offers them for sale at local fairs and Farmers’ Markets. The Lavender Ladies gather every summer to prepare the lavender and in June offer a Lavender Wand workshop and welcome you to join. You can find them in the Garden next to the yellow shed on Weds. from 10:00-12:00.
