Meet our Office Manager – The office manager is responsible for managing many tasks at the center including, scheduling activities, managing the rentals, publicity of our events, managing the advertisers for our newsletter, assisting in fundraising activity, handling complaints/incident reports and creating our monthly newsletter, as well as many other tasks which we rely heavily on her for. Hello Everyone! My name is Lauren and I am excited to introduce myself. I was born and raised right here in Aptos. I have lived many different places but came back home to Santa Cruz to raise my family. I love the beautiful place we call home! I am an avid hiker/backpacker, parent of two school aged kiddos and love wandering the creek right behind MCSC. I enjoy working with seniors as my early childhood included being constantly around my great grandma Ruth and her neighbors at a retirement community here in town. I’ve worked as an administrator at a retirement community up in Eugene, Oregon and have many years of administrative experience. What attracted me to work here at MCSC was the desire to integrate my skills to a group of seniors who are actively supporting our community by providing fun things to do and who harness a sense of belonging for all who come through the doors.
